'The Survivor Chronicles' by Erica Stevens (A Review)

Hello all! 

I'd like to talk about a free web series that is written by author Erica Stevens called 'The Survivor Chronicles'. Although this isn't a book in the traditional sense, I believe it is worth bringing to people's attention. 

'The Survivor Chronicles' is, as of February 3rd 2013, an ongoing, 27 part story that is set in the New England area, depicting the lives of 6 main characters named Mary Ellen, Al, Xavier, Riley, Carl and John dealing with devastating earthquakes, massive floods, and lava fueled fires.

The story begins with: 

"The First tremors of the earth were felt at 7:22 EST. time. Every single person felt the rumbling, and experienced the tremors that would forever alter the course of history. Most did not survive. These are the accounts of some of those that did."

Each weekly chapter follows the hardships of a different character as they try to survive through what seems to be the beginning of the end of the world. It's very interesting to see how the lives of those people intertwine with each other and the story is written so descriptively well that you can picture the scenes in your mind, feel the sorrow, frustration and fear that the characters are feeling and it gives you a feeling that you are right there with them, grieving with them as they lose the ones they love, feeling the terror as they come upon yet another wave of disaster, and wanting to encourage them to not give up.

I wait with bated breathe for every installment. What an excellent book!! I can so see this as a movie or min-series for TV. Love LOVE it.
